I am happy to announce that Mr. Holman, a graduate student at Georgia State University, will be completing his teacher internship this semester as my co-teacher. We will work together in delivering instruction, but as the semester progresses he will begin to take more and more responsibility for teaching until he assumes the role of your primary instructor for approximately 4-6 weeks. Ultimately, students will benefit from having two teachers because, by working together, Mr. Holman and I can provide more personalized instruction and feedback in class.
Tuesday: We will begin our poetry unit today. You will look up poetry terms and write their definitions while Mr. Holman and I verify your schedules. Review the syllabus and class policies. Complete poetry terms for homework. Wednesday: Poetry activity in class. Thursday: Emily Dickinson poetry and applicable literary terms such as slant-rhyme. Friday: Free verse poetry. |
