Monday Writer's Notebook: "Romeo was banished from Verona in Act 3 and he does not take it well, saying death is preferable to banishment. Is there a modern equivalent of banishment? Is banishment really worse than death, as Romeo imagines? Why doesn't Juliet simply decide to join Romeo in Mantua?"
Tuesday Take some time to read today, not necessarily during this "class period," but at some point. The choice book you started earlier in the semester -- did you finish it? Is there another book you've been itching to read or want to challenge yourself to read? Do it! Take advantage of this time we have in our homes to rediscover the magic of reading.
Wednesday Writer's Notebook: "How have you been coping with this new Coronavirus reality in which we find ourselves? How is online school working for you in all your classes? Besides school work, what have you been doing to occupy the time?"
Thursday Writer's Notebook: "Friday Freewrite!!!"
Friday Today, we will have a Zoom meeting/class. Each class will have 30 minutes to review Romeo and Juliet (and to catch up with each other and show off our pets). The class period time slots are below, but you can attend a different class session if you have a conflict with another class or appointment.
My office hours are 10:30 - 12:00 I will reply to emails received after 4:00 p.m. on the following day. Drama Unit: |
